224. Mr. Gilhawley asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement of his intentions in relation to the future of Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim; and if he will have hospital facilities there restored to the standard enjoyed under Leitrim County Council.

Minister for Health (Dr. Woods): I am not in a position at this stage to comment on the future role of Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton. The matter will be fully considered in consultation with the North-Western Health Board in the context of the development of Sligo General Hospital.
