24. Mr. McMahon asked the Minister for Education the reason for the reduction in size of the site for the Old Bawn community school, County Dublin, from the original site area of 13 to eight acres; and if he will ensure that the original acreage is restored.

Mr. Wilson: Dublin County Council were prepared originally to allocate an area of 13.5 acres approximately for the purpose of the Old Bawn community school site but reduced this area subsequently to 8.04 acres. The Department have been in communication with the council in regard to the question of the [1350] acquisition of an additional area of land from the council for the purpose of the school site.
