5. Mr. B. Desmond asked the Taoiseach the total tonnage of sales for each of the following (i) cement, (ii) concrete blocks and (iii) concrete roofing tiles in the first four months of 1979 and 1980.

Mr. Moore: The available information relates to item (i) of the Deputy's question. Sales of home produced cement were 540,300 tonnes in the first four months of 1979, and were 582,000 tonnes in the corresponding period of 1980. Therefore, the sales are up very much.

Corresponding data for concrete blocks and concrete roofing tiles are not available.
