331. Mr. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture why he is increasing the size of An Chomhairle Olla; and the person he proposes to appoint to the additional position on the board.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Gibbons): The membership of An Chomhairle Olla was increased from ten to 11 members, in addition to the chairman, so as to enable increased representation to be given on the board to wool manufacturing interests. Mr. Seamus Sherry, Moybrook, [1646] Foxford, County Mayo, has been appointed to fill the additional position.
