330. Mr. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture if it is proposed to make the disease orf a notifiable disease and to take steps to eradicate it.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Gibbons): No. The economic importance of this disease is not such as to warrant its being made compulsorily notifiable or the introduction by the State of compulsory eradication measures.
