68. Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of industries at present operating in the Shannon Industrial Estate; the names of the companies; and the number at present employed in each industry.

[477] Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. Keating): I am informed by SFADCo that at present there are 71 industries, including 36 service industries, operating on the Shannon Industrial Estate. A list showing the names of the companies in question is set out below. The total number employed in these industries at 31st March, 1977, was 3,729. The Deputy will appreciate that it is not the practice to disclose in respect of individual firms, confidential information such as employment figures.
