90. Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Education when the necessary sanction will be given to carry out essential repairs to Cooraclare national school, County Clare.

91. Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Education the names of one-teacher and two-teacher schools in County Clare where applications for repairs are under consideration by his Department; and when decisions will be made in each case.

Minister for Education (Mr. P. Barry): Applications have been received in the case of the following schools: Baltard, Shannon View, Leitrim, Kilnaboy, Mullagh, Rineen, Rockmount, Scropul, Willbrook.

My Department hopes to be in a position shortly to advise the management authorities concerned regarding the carrying out of works at these schools.

92. Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Education when he proposes to sanction a grant for repairs to Leitrim national school, County Clare.

Minister for Education (Mr. P. Barry): The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked for an up-to-date estimate of the cost of the works proposed at this school.

When their report is received, my Department will sanction a grant.
