287. Dr. Byrne asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in paying a grant for the erection of a child guidance centre to the St. John of God Brothers, Rathgar, Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health (Mr. Corish): At present the planning of this extension is going ahead. When the plans are completed the question of providing the necessary grants for the building [117] work will be considered in the light of the then financial situation, and the competing claims of other projects.
