Dáil Éireann - Volume 283 - 01 July, 1975 Written Answers. - County Dublin School. Mr. R.P. Burke Mr. R.P. Burke 223. Mr. R.P. Burke asked the Minister for Education if he will sanction the reopening of the Old Boro school in Swords. County Dublin, as this school is required in view of the increase in the number of non-Catholic children in the area. Minister for Education (Mr. R. Burke) Richard Burke Minister for Education (Mr. R. Burke): The question of reopening the Old Boro school in Swords was investigated last year and it was found that the parents of about 30 children would be prepared to send them to that school. It was clear, however, that the educational interests of the children would be better served by their continued attendance at the larger school in Malahide. In the circumstances the reopening of the old school would not be warranted. Dáil Éireann 283 Written Answers. County Dublin School. Questions 19750701
