Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Parking Meters.
Mr. Moore Mr. Moore
4. Mr. Moore asked the Minister for Local Government if any parking meters have been placed on clearways; and if a motorist who has paid for time on a parking meter may commit an offence by parking during prohibited hours.
Minister for Local Government (Mr. Boland) Kevin Boland
Minister for Local Government (Mr. Boland): I understand that parking meters are located on a number of clearways in Dublin. The “Motorists Guide to Parking Meters Scheme” issued by Dublin Corporation states that where meter parking places are located on clearways, parking and stopping are prohibited during the clearway hours. On the information plates affixed to meters on clearways it is stated that a vehicle shall not park at a meter during clearway hours.
