40. Mr. P. O'Donnell asked the Minister for Local Government if and when a tender for the Glenties/Ardara regional water scheme was submitted to him; and when it is proposed to sanction the tender.

Mr. P. Brennan: A proposal to accept a tender for this scheme was submitted to my Department by Donegal County Council on 14th September and application for sanction to a loan was received on 6th October. A decision on the proposal will issue shortly.
