Mr. Geoghegan asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position regarding the regional water supply between Bushypark. Galway and Oughterard. Mr. Geoghegan Mr. Geoghegan 36. Mr. Geoghegan asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects the work will start on the regional water supply for South Connemara, County Galway, that is to say from Spiddal to Lettermullen and the branch between Spiddal and Furba. A proposal for the appointment of a consulting engineer to prepare plans for schemes to serve the South Connemara area was received in my Department on 26th October, 1965, and is at present being examined by my technical advisers. It is not possible at present to say when work will start on any section of the schemes. Mr. Dillon Mr. Dillon Mr. Dillon: No supplementaries? Mr. Geoghegan asked the Minister for Local Government if any plans [475] have been submitted to his Department by the local authority for a regional water supply for Camus area, County Galway. Mr. P. Mr. Geoghegan asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects that work will start on the regional water supply for Kilkieran, Carna, Connemara, County Galway. Mr. P. Brennan Mr. P. Brennan Mr. P. Brennan: I am not in a position to state when work on this scheme will commence.
