Mr. Kitt asked the Minister for Education the cause of the delay in sanctioning the proposal of County Galway Vocational Education Committee to build a new vocational school in Glenamaddy, County Galway; and when it is expected that the Committee will be able to proceed with the work. Dr. Hillery Dr. Hillery Dr. Hillery: My Department has communicated with the County Galway Vocational Education Committee approving the lay-out plans for the various rooms at the proposed new school at Glenamaddy, and authorising the preparation of the working drawings and specification for the school. I cannot say when the building work will be authorised, but I can assure the Deputy that no avoidable delay will occur in my Department in dealing with the case.
