80. Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Local Government what the present position is with regard to the construction of the new sewer at Caherdavin, Limerick.

Mr. Blaney: The contract documents for the joint sewerage scheme being undertaken by Limerick Corporation and Limerick County Council at Caherdavin have been approved. I understand that the county council is at present negotiating for the acquisition of the necessary lands for the scheme.
