Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the location of the present dumping site for silt, which is used by the dredger now engaged in operations at Westport Quay, will endanger the livelihood of fishermen at Inisgort, Kilmeena, County Mayo; and if he will arrange to have an alternative dumping site utilised.

Mr. Childers: I had already received a report on this subject and following representations to them have received an assurance from the Commissioners of Public Works, by whom the dredger in question is employed, that another dumping site will be utilised.
