Mr. Finlay asked the Minister for Justice whether he has under consideration any proposals to alter the existing law with regard to the death penalty for capital offences.

Mr. Everett: Proposals to alter the existing law in connection with the imposition of the death penalty for capital offences are not at present under consideration.
