Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh: That is a matter for the board of directors of the Irish National Stud Company, Limited. Mr. S. Collins Mr. S. Collins Mr. S. Collins: Surely, having voted £250,000 from this House for the purchase of Tulyar—— Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh: You did not. Mr. Collins Mr. Collins Mr. Collins: Well, voting it to the National Stud to enable them to purchase Tulyar, among other things—are we not going to be given that information as to how the nominations to Tulyar were allotted and whether any small farmer benefited at all? Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh 643 [643] Mr. Walsh: I have no function in the matter. Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman: Will the Minister say how he reconciles the fact that he now states he has no function in regard to the National Stud with the directive issued by him to the directors of the National Stud that they were to buy Tulyar and the price at which they were to buy him? Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh: When did the Minister do that? Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman: He gave that direction before the horse was bought. He hid it from the House in the discussion on the Bill, and it is now common property that it did happen. Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh: On whose authority does the Deputy speak? Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman: The Deputy knows what he is talking about. Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh: Tell us who informed you. Give us the information. Mr. S. Collins Mr. S.
