Mr. Davin Mr. Davin Mr. Davin asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the amount allocated from the Road Fund to the Counties of (1) Laoighis and (2) Offaly for the year ending March 31st, 1954. Mr. Smith Mr. Smith Mr. Smith: I hope to notify particulars of the annual Road Fund grants for the coming year to county councils in the near future. Mr. Davin Mr. Davin Mr. Davin: What is the definition of the words “near future”? Mr. Smith Mr. Smith Mr. Smith: I have heard several people trying to make a shot at it and I cannot improve on previous efforts in this House. Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman Mr. Sweetman: Will it be before the election? Mr. Everett Mr. Everett Mr. Everett: Will the Minister notify them in advance, as it would facilitate the consideration of the estimates of expenditure?
