Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Grants.

Mr. J.J. Collins asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) when his Department intends paying housing grants due to the West Limerick Public Utility Society which are outstanding for a considerable time; (b) the amount of grant paid to the society since 1st April, 1948, to date, and (c) the certified amounts due.

Mr. Murphy: (a) I am not aware that there are any cases of grants due to the West Limerick Public Utility Society which are outstanding, but if the Deputy would furnish a list of such cases I will have them investigated individually and will write to him; (b) the amount of the grants paid to this society since the 1st April, 1948, is £2,258; (c) all such grants certified to [530] be properly payable to this society have already been paid.
