Dáil Éireann - Volume 67 - 26 May, 1937 Court Officers (Amendment) Bill, 1937—Second Stage. Minister for Justice (Mr. Ruttledge) Minister for Justice (Mr. Ruttledge) Minister for Justice (Mr. Ruttledge): I move the Second Reading of this Bill. The necessity for the Bill has arisen, as Deputies are aware, through certain difficulties with regard to the building or court in Morgan Place, and we have taken advantage of that to try to clear up and provide for other difficulties that might possibly arise. I had circulated with this Bill an explanatory memorandum which, I think, covers what the Bill provides for and explains what it intends to do. Question put and agreed to. An Leas-Cheann Comhairle Patrick (Clare) Hogan An Leas-Cheann Comhairle: When is it proposed to take the next stage? Mr. Costello Mr. Costello Mr. Costello: We are agreeable to have it taken now. Mr. Ruttledge Mr. Ruttledge Mr. Ruttledge: The difficulty is that, as finally prepared, we had not an opportunity of sending the Bill to the district justices in the country and they may have some suggestions to make. Committee Stage fixed for Wednesday, 2nd June. Dáil Éireann 67 Court Officers (Amendment) Bill, 1937—Second Stage. General Debate 19370526
