Mr. MacEntee: I move: “That the Dáil agree with the Committee in said Resolution.” This Resolution is designed to ensure that where a legacy is left and is applied to charitable purposes here in Ireland it will be exempt from legacy duty, but if it is applied to charitable purposes elsewhere it will be subject to legacy duties.
