Financial Resolution No. 1. - Financial Resolution No. 24—General.

That it is expedient to amend the law relating to Customs and Inland Revenue (including Excise) and to make further provision in connection with finance.

Mr. MacEntee: I presume it is not the desire of the House that I should move Resolution No. 24 to-day. No. 24 is a general Resolution upon which it is usual that a general discussion should take place. If I move it on the next day on which the Dáil sits it would be enough or I shall move it now and move simultaneously to report progress.

Progress reported. The Committee to sit again on Tuesday, 15th May, 1934.
