Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sheriff's Sale of Cattle in Dublin.

Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice whether it is a fact that the “John Brown” who bid for the cattle at the sheriff's sale in Dublin on the 20th September, was in reality a sergeant of the Gárda Síochána, and, if so, whether he had official authority for so bidding.

Mr. Ruttledge: I refer the Deputy to the reply given by me to a question by Deputy Vincent Rice on the same subject yesterday.

Mr. Rice: The reply being that there was no reply.
