Tadhg O Murchadha Tadhg O Murchadha Tadhg O Murchadha asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he proposes to take any steps in co-operation with boards of health to provide additional half-acre plots for tenants of labourers' cottages who hold only a half-acre plot at present. Mr. Murphy Mr. Murphy 1995 Mr. Murphy: Is the Minister aware that if a local authority proposes to acquire land for this purpose, a delay of at least twelve or eighteen months will take place before the land can be acquired? Would the Minister be prepared to indicate to the House [1995] whether he would be in a position to do anything to expedite further the transfer of land for that purpose?
