The President The President 803 The President: Since the House last met Deputies will have learned with regret of the death of two members, Deputy Peter de Loughrey and Deputy William P. Aird. Both Deputies had long and honourable association with this House and with other representative bodies in the country. They had, also, had intimate connection with the commerce of their districts. Deputy de Loughrey before re-entering the Dáil had been a member of the Seanad. Both had earned the highest [803] respect and esteem from the members of this House.
