Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware of the general demand being made by cottage tenants for a purchase scheme for labourers' cottages or at least for an enquiry into the advisability of such a scheme; if he is aware that the General Council of County Councils recently passed a motion in favour of such action, and if he will consider having a committee at once appointed to inquire into all the relevant particulars and report thereon. General Mulcahy General Mulcahy General Mulcahy: I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Deputy Morrissey's question on this subject on the 11th March, 1931. I have nothing to add to that reply. Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty: In view of the attitude taken up by the General Council of County Councils will the Minister say when he will be in a position to appoint a committee? General Mulcahy General Mulcahy General Mulcahy: I do not think the General Council of County Councils have had anything to add to what they said before on this subject. The matter has been fully investigated by the different Boards of Health. Dáil Éireann 40 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. Purchase Scheme for Labourers' Cottages. Questions 19311021
