Mr. Blaney asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries to state whether a petition submitted to the Land Commission for a grant for the purpose of constructing a new road on the Irwin Estate, County Donegal, known as the Cummeen-Doohary bog road, has yet been considered; and, if so, what decision, if any, has been come to in the matter.

Mr. Roddy: A petition applying for a grant for the construction of a bog road in the district referred to by the Deputy on the Irwin Estate was recently received by the Land Commission and the matter is at present under investigation.
