Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the period during which Mr. Fay acted as Liaison Officer between the Electricity Supply Board and the Minister prior to his appointment to the Board; and further, if he will state the nature of the report of Mr. Fay referring to the financial possibilities of the scheme as a whole. Mr. McGilligan Mr. McGilligan Mr. McGilligan: The period was from July, 1929. I am unable to identify the report referred to in the last part of the question. Mr. McGilligan Mr. McGilligan Mr. McGilligan: I got a lot of statements—I do not know whether they could be called reports—mainly to the effect that there was no information forthcoming from the Board. Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe: Did the Minister not get any statement indicating, in the estimation of Mr. Fay, the financial position of the scheme?
