Mr. O'Reilly asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when he proposes to distribute Newtown and Knocklough, Rotheram Estate, and Ballinavalley, McKeever [2001] Estate, all in Oldeastle district, amongst the landless and uneconomic people of the area.

Mr. Roddy: I have nothing to add to my replies to the Deputy's previous questions of 18th March last with reference to the Rotheram Estate and to the holding of Thomas D. McKeever in Ballinavalley on the Colonel Woods Estate. At the present state of the proceedings in both cases it is not possible to say when the lands, if acquired, will be divided, but the proceedings are being expedited as much as possible.
