Mr. Cassidy asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will make arrangements for rural industries to be established at Burtonport, Kincasslagh, Gweedore and Arranmore Island in order to give much-needed employment in each of these districts.

Mr. Lynch: The opening of industries at Gweedore and Arranmore in the near future is in contemplation. The claims of the other districts mentioned will be borne in mind, but preference is given to areas in the Fíor-Ghaeltacht.
