Mr. Hennessy asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he has any information regarding the arrangements or agreements now existing between Saorstát and British flour millers regarding the sale of flour in the Saorstát; and the effect of such agreements on consumers of flour and bread in the Saorstát, and on the output of the Saorstát flour mills.

Mr. Blythe: I have been furnished in confidence with particulars of an arrangement between the flour-millers in the Saorstát and in Great Britain. No effects adverse to consumers or flour-millers in the Saorstát have been observed as a result of that arrangement.
