Mr. Harris Mr. Harris Mr. Harris asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health to state what provision, if any, is being made through the medium of relief schemes or otherwise, to provide employment to relieve the distress in the Athy district, which has resulted from the crisis in the beet-growing industry. Mr. Harris Mr. Harris Mr. Harris: Is the Minister aware that the weekly provision of relief for the month of May, 1931, is raised from £12 to £20, as compared with May, 1930, and that that is due to the unemployment of able-bodied men owing to the beet crisis?
