Séamus O Riain asked the Minister for Defence whether his Department [1569] has purchased foreign eggs and bacon during the last twelve months; if so, what were the quotations for foreign and Irish eggs and bacon respectively; and what were the countries of origin.

Mr. Fitzgerald: Neither foreign eggs nor bacon have been purchased by the Department of Defence during the last twelve months. The remaining parts of the Deputy's question do not therefore arise.
