Doyle asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state why the Land Commission did not grant to Paul Morrow an allotment on the Whitcroft Watson Estate, Lumclone, Co. Carlow; and if he is aware that Mr. Morrow was refused on the grounds of being a single man; and whether, in view of the fact that other people who are single got portion of this land, he will again consider Mr. Morrow's claim. Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy 1490 Mr. Roddy: Mr. Paul Morrow's application for a parcel of land on the Whitcroft Estate, County Carlow, was considered [1490] with others in connection with the division of the lands of Lumcloon, but owing to prior claims and to the limited area of land available for distribution, it was not found possible to accommodate Mr. Morrow with a parcel of land.
