Leave was given to introduce a “Bill entitled an Act to make provision for the remission or reduction of the amounts repayable in respect of certain loans made out of public moneys for purposes relating to sea [1208] fishing and to make provision for the writing off of irrecoverable balances of other such loans.”—(Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Lynch).)
