Lemass asked the President when the proposals regarding the Shannon Scheme, referred to in his reply to a Parliamentary question on May 20th, will be laid before the Dáil. The President The President The President: The proposals of the Minister for Industry and Commerce will be laid before the Dáil as soon as the requisite financial particulars have been furnished by the Electricity Supply Board. The Board is expediting the preparation of these particulars, but it is not possible to state a precise date for their completion. Mr. Lemass Mr. Lemass Mr. Lemass: Will the President state whether the financial particulars referred to by him are the accounts which the Electricity Supply Board are statutorily obliged to supply to the Minister? The President The President The President: I understand that that question was raised by Deputy Fahy on the Estimate a short time ago.
