Mr. S. Jordan asked the Minister for Finance to state when he proposes to pay the various subscribers to the Dáil Loan in the Parish of Abbey-knockmoy, Ballyglunin, Co. Galway.

Mr. Blythe: The claim of every subscriber to the Dáil Eireann (Internal) Loan, 1919-20, in the Parish of Abbey-knockmoy who applied in writing to my Department not later than the 30th April last will be dealt with as speedily as possible.

I may add that the investigation of claims from this area is hampered by reason of the fact that no list of subscribers was furnished to the Dáil Department [400] of Finance at the time the loan was raised and no list which can be identified as referring to this area has since been furnished by the collectors.
