Dáil Éireann - Volume 39 - 10 June, 1931 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repayment of Dail Loan. Dr. Ward Dr. Ward Dr. Ward asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received an application from Mrs. Dowdall, formerly of College Hall, Tynan, County Armagh, and now of Desart, Emyvale, County Monaghan, for repayment of Dáil Loan subscription entered in the name of her late husband; and whether he will state if it is intended to repay the amount in the near future. Mr. Blythe Mr. Blythe Mr. Blythe: In accordance with the powers conferred upon me by Section 4 (1) of the Dáil Eireann Loans and Funds Act, 1924, I fixed the 30th April, 1931, as the final date for making application for repayment in respect of sums subscribed to the Dáil Eireann (Internal) Loan, 1919-20. As Mrs. Dowdall's application was not received within the prescribed period I regret that I am unable to authorise repayment in respect of the sum stated to have been subscribed by her late husband.
