Dr. Ward asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health [8] whether he will state (1) the schemes in County Monaghan to which his Department has contributed or proposes to contribute out of the Unemployment Relief Grant; (2) the amount of such contribution to each scheme; (3) the total estimated cost of each scheme.

General Mulcahy: The replies are as follow:—

(1) Carrickmacross Urban District— Sewerage works. Clones Urban District—Road works and drainage of Fair Green. Castleblayney Urban District—Sewerage works and improvement of water supply. Monaghan Urban District—Sewerage works.

(2) The grants allocated are, respectively, £500, £3,000, £2,000, £4,000.

(3) The cost of the respective works is approximately £2,100, £3,500, £6,600, £11,500.
