Mr. P. Boland asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received several applications from Thomas Morkan, Ballingrawn, Moneygall, Co. Offaly, for repayment of £1 (one pound) Dáil Loan (Receipt No. 10855, dated 31st January, 1920); and if it is proposed to issue payment in the near future.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Blythe): Only one application can be traced [2231] as having been received in my Department from Mr. Thomas Morkan, Ballingrawn, Moneygall, Co. Offaly, for repayment in respect of a subscription of £1 (one pound) made by him to the Dáil Eireann (Internal) Loan, 1919-20.

As a result of the recent concession, whereby the time for lodging applications was extended, it is now possible to consider this application and it will be dealt with in due course.
