[2222] Mr. Kilroy asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state why the Valley National School pupils, Achill, Co. Mayo, have been refused school meals for the current year, while it is a scheduled area under the School Meals (Gaeltacht) Act, 1930; and if he is aware that, with one or two exceptions, all the pupils are of the migratory labour class.

General Mulcahy: I am not aware that there has been any refusal in this case. I understand that when the school meals scheme is brought into operation in County Mayo this school will be included.
