Written Answers. - Resumption of Wexford Holding.

Séamus O Riain asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether it is intended to resume the holding of Mrs. Corcoran, Ballyrane House, Clonroche, County Wexford, with a view to relieving the acute congestion in the district.

Mr. Roddy: An offer made by the Land Commission in 1927 for the purchase of the holding owned by Mrs. Corcoran and Mrs. Lett in Boolabaun, which is subject to a Land Purchase Annuity, was not accepted by the owners, and in the circumstances it was decided to take no further action for acquisition.
