Mr. Cassidy asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether, in view of the large amount of unemployment existing in Killygordon (Co. Donegal) and surrounding districts, he will instruct the Land Commission to complete the construction of the road from Mullaghaneary road to the upper road leading to Ballybofey, which was partly constructed a considerable time ago.

Parliamentary Secretary to Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Roddy): The Deputy has been already informed in reply to his question of 22nd ultimo that investigation is being made into the circumstances with a view to ascertaining the utility and cost of the proposed road. The inspector's report has not yet been received.
