Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state definitely when he intends to take over the lands of St. Johnstown, known as the Moore Estate, held by Mr. Sparrow, to relieve the congestion in that area. Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy: I have to refer the Deputy to my reply to his question as to this holding on 4th March last, when I informed him that the tenant had lodged an objection to the proposed resumption of his holding. This objection will be listed for hearing by the Land Commission as soon as possible after the Murray Estate, on which the holding of William Sparrow is situate, is vested in the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1931. Mr. Fogarty Mr. Fogarty 1106 Mr. Fogarty asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state definitely when he intends to divide, for the relief of distress in the area, the Philips Estate, Gaile, Co. Tipperary, which was acquired by the [1106] Land Commission three years ago; if he is aware of the hardship caused to the workers of that estate by the delay in making the division. Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy: The scheme for the division of the lands of Gaile is at present under consideration by the Land Commission, and it will be put into operation as early as possible.
