Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Liquor Licence Endorsements.

Proinnsias O Fathaigh asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in how many cases the licences of premises licensed for the sale of intoxicating liquor have been endorsed by Justices of the District Court since the passing of the Intoxicating Liquor Act, 1927; and how many of these endorsements have been removed on appeal to the Circuit Court.

Mr. Fitzgerald-Kenney: I have caused the necessary enquiries to be made from the various District Court Clerks throughout the country, but returns have not yet been received from certain outlying areas. If the [743] Deputy will repeat his question in the course of about a week I hope to be then in possession of the required particulars.
