Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Saorstát Citizen's Arrest in Newry.

Tomás O Maoláin asked the President whether he will make representations to the Government of Northern Ireland with a view to securing the release of Mr. Patrick E. Swiney, of Dublin, a citizen of Saorstát Eireann, who was arrested at Newry on April 5th, 1931, and subsequently sentenced to six months' imprisonment for sedition.

The President: It is not proposed to make any representations in this case.
