Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Motor Vehicles in Saorstát.

Mr. Davin asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health to state the number of (1) passenger-carrying buses, (2) motor lorries, (3) hackney motors, (4) private cars registered [390] in Saorstát Eireann during the financial year ending 31st March, 1931; and the total amount received from motor taxation during the same period.

General Mulcahy: The motor vehicle licensing period is the calendar year. The following are the figures for the year ending 31st December, 1930:—
