Parliamentary Secretary to the President (Mr. Duggan): I move:—

“That in accordance with Standing Order No. 109 a Select Committee to be designated ‘The Committee of Public Accounts’ be appointed; and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection;

“That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records.”

“That the Appropriation Accounts, together with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1930, he referred to the Committee of Public Accounts for examination and report.”

Mr. MacEntee: Arising out of this motion, may I ask the President if he is prepared to give a day for the discussion of the report of the Public Accounts Committee on the Appropriation Account for 1928-29?
