Written Answers. - Division of Ruttledge Estate (Co. Mayo).

[2018] Mr. Nally asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he is aware that Bloomfield House and demesne, containing 400 acres, were acquired by the Irish Land Commission over 5 years ago; that the house is vacant and the lands still let in grazing; and if he will state the cause of delay in dividing the lands which are on the Ruttledge Estate, Hollymount, County Mayo.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Roddy): It has not been possible so far to divide the Bloomfield lands referred to but a scheme for their division, in conjunction with the lands of Lehinch Demesne and Hollymount Demesne which the owner, Mr. Patrick McCartan, has recently agreed to sell to the Land Commission, is now in course of preparation and will be completed as expeditiously as possible.
