Tomás O Conaill Tomás O Conaill Tomás O Conaill asked the Minister for Education to state the number of Assistant Teachers and Junior Assistant Mistresses from whom salary was withdrawn since March 31st, 1930, on account of the fall in the average attendance at their respective schools. Minister for Education (Professor O'Sullivan) John Marcus O'Sullivan Minister for Education (Professor O'Sullivan): Salary was withdrawn since March 31st, 1930, from twelve Assistant Teachers and six Junior Mistresses on account of the fall in the average attendance at their respective schools. Of the Assistant Teachers, four have been re-appointed as Principal or Assistant Teachers in other schools, and five had been retained as Junior Assistant Mistresses in the schools in which they were serving as Assistant Teachers.
